We are in the Last Lap of the Race to defend Marriage!

Now is the Final Push to Put Marriage on the Ballot!

Dear friends of marriage and the family,

We are quickly approaching the deadline of December 21st to receive your signature petitions so we can get them organized to submit them to the state to put an amendment to protect marriage on the ballot next November.

If you have not yet downloaded the petition form and circulated it to your family, friends, and neighbors and returned it to us, PLEASE DO SO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! This is no time to be a procrastinator!! Make your New Year’s resolution early to change and start with this petition.

We need to put on a massive push in the next week or so to get this amendment qualified on the ballot. It will be close and it looks now like we need about 100,000 signatures more to qualify the amendment. Each person’s effort counts!! See our updated website and send a message on the initiative to your friends!

For all of you who have already helped gather signatures, THANK YOU SO MUCH! We are so impressed with your commitment to protect marriage. Please consider gathering even more! If you have one petition or more gathering dust PLEASE send it in. Completed, partially completed or uncompleted! All are needed.

Let me also say that it is really an honor and a pleasure to work with so many great people like you. You inspire me every day. Let me quote from a note we received with petitions signed by 90 people from one of our volunteers.

Enclosed please find the signed petitions that I was able to get. If this doesn't help the cause and you have to continue this on, please contact me if there is anything else I can do. I am a 'senior citizen' and not as full of 'vim and vinegar' as I use to be but will try to do what I can. I didn't learn about this until just before Thanksgiving.

If this faithful volunteer can gather 90 signatures, each of us ought to be able to gather at least enough to fill one sheet!

Thanks again for all that so many of you are doing and please redouble your efforts to help us defend marriage by getting this amendment on the ballot.
